B-STOOL (2008)
The B-Stool was the first piece created from Christel’s Honours project experimenting with bamboo. The concept was to create a stool that avoided the use of adhesives, hence the design of the stool is held together by metal and rubber fasteners. Upon sitting on the bamboo surfaces, the user experiences a slight “cushioning” effect provided by the flexible properties of bamboo.
